I suffered all of the above for almost 12 months. Then a co-worker put me onto an osteopath and it changed my life. The problem – poor posture. The main cause – sitting at a computer screen all day. The treatment – massage and manipulation from my osteopath combined with exercises to strengthen my shoulders.

Last year on Mother’s Day I stumbled upon this Instagram post that acknowledged all women. Mother’s in waiting, step-mums, aunties. It was an inclusive post wishing everyone a happy day. It was a super sweet message so I hit that like button and left a comment of thanks. I was shocked to discover a stream of angry comments all centered around the same theme – “It’s not your day”.

I knew it was coming. When I booked into see a naturopath I knew she was going to put me on a gluten and dairy free diet. I had been sceptical and reluctant to make the appointment in the first place. But she came highly recommended and I was getting desperate. I had visited several doctors over the past two years and nothing had helped. I was constantly tired, lethargic, and bloated.
